Techline is IBM’s pre-sales Technical Sales Support organization, assisting Business Partners in the design, size, and configurations based on IBM products and services. It also provides solution design; configuration validation; education resources; and assistance in competitive situations.

Techline provides:

  • IBM server sizing for IBM software (DB2®, WebSphere®, Domino®) and for selected software vendors
  • Configuration, validation and assistance
  • Technical product information including:
    • Interoperability and compatibility
    • Versions and release positioning
    • Performance / benchmark information
  • Education sources
  • Solution assurance information
  • Assistance in competitive situations

Techline supports pre-sales questions from entitled IBM Business Partners with an appropriate level of skill in the subject area.
