Not every Business Partner is authorized to use the emblems. Authorization
depends upon the agreement signed by the Business Partner and the Business
Partner's level. For more on emblem eligibility see the Welcome
page.
The emblems should be used only when you reference the IBM products
and offerings you sell, service or influence, for example, in advertising,
publications, Web sites, customer contracts and customer proposals.
The emblems should not be used if your communication does not refer
to these IBM-related activities or to your role as an IBM Business Partner.
For example you should not use the emblem to publicize a press release
about a merger or public offering, etc. The only exceptions are identification
materials like business cards, banners and signs to which descriptions
of products and offerings do not apply.
All materials prepared for advertising, promotion, direct mail or other
purposes using these emblems, referring to IBM or any other IBM trademarks,
must comply with these guidelines.
Use of the IBM logotype or other copyrighted artwork is not permitted
unless otherwise authorized.
These emblems are the only approved marks. There are no other authorized
IBM Business Partner emblems. Only one emblem should be used in a single
Business Partner communication.

Premier and Advanced Business Partners
Those firms that qualify as Premier or Advanced Business Partners may
use the tag lines "An IBM Premier Business Partner" or "An
IBM Advanced Business Partner", as appropriate, in conjunction with
their company name or logo or elsewhere in the text of communications.
These
lines should never be used as part of the IBM Business Partner emblem,
nor should any other designations be added to the emblem. Remember, too,
not to deemphasize your company's identity.
For illustrations of how to place these special tag lines, refer to the
examples in the Formats section of this document.
