Virtual Loaner Program (VLP)
For short-term projects, VLP provides no charge, secure, remote access to AIX, IBM i, i5/OS, Linux, and IBM middleware running on the latest POWER6 & POWER5 hardware. VLP reservations work very much like an online airline reservation system. Depending upon availability, your reservation can be automatically provisioned for you in a couple of hours. VLP reservations can encompass multiple servers running multiple operating systems for multi-tier solution integration. The Linux Test Drive program provides no-cost, one-time, short-term, remote access to Linux on a System z computer running in our Technical Support Center.

IBM Innovation Centers
IBM Innovation Centers around the world provide Business Partners with remote or on-site access to a complete systems environment tailored to your needs, including hardware, operating systems, middleware, and hands-on assistance from IBM technical staff. Other activities include architectural integration consulting , proof of concept, optimizing and modernizing, performance and scalability testing. Classroom-based workshops are available as well as virtual workshops (distance learning with labs). These services are available at IBM Innovation Centers at no charge.
Total Storage Solution Centers (TSSC)
IBM TotalStorage Solution Centers deliver one-stop shopping for storage hardware, software, and consulting services. The Solution Centers offer you both a local venue for a hands-on test drive of IBM storage solutions and a platform for proof of concept and benchmarking activities.
Rapid Port
The IBM Rapid Port service provides a rapid-response team of no-cost IBM technical specialists and services for porting commercially available applications to IBM Systems platforms in response to significant and qualified sales opportunities.
IBM Systems Benchmark Centers
These data centers provide low- or no-cost access to IBM equipment for proof of concept, scaling and performance services, as well as assistance in executing ISV application benchmarks. Activities include: Application benchmarking, performance testing, scalability testing, stress testing and workload balancing
IBM Systems Application Advantage for Linux (Chiphopper)
