IBM Lotus Connections for Partners

You probably have heard of and may be participating in the growing number of social networks available on the Internet. Now you can join an online community specifically designed to support you as an IBM Business Partner Lotus Connections for Partners.

With your input, we can define and refine what market opportunities are the hottest, where we can best support you and your business, and how you can network and go to market with other Business Partners to expand the reach of your products. We will harvest your feedback and suggestions in how best to work with you, so you will have a direct influence on the design of our marketing, sales and development plans.

Highlights
Communities - Search, create and join communities that feature certain social or business themes.
Profiles - Search for individuals with particular skills or business interests.
Blogs - Read and respond to blogs spanning numerous subject matters, and/or publish your own.
Dogears - Use social bookmarking to highlight and find particular Web sites of interest.
Activities - Create and manage private or publicly available projects, and track related milestones and deadlines.

Steps to participate
  1. You must be a registered member of IBM PartnerWorld.
  2. Visit the Lotus Connections for Partners landing page and complete the short registration form.
  3. Once your 'Welcome Letter' arrives, log in and complete your profile.
  4. Begin browsing the blogs, shared bookmarks (dogears), and communities.
  5. Start contributing by adding your own bookmarks, participating in blogs, joining relevant communities.
