These three key Business Partner agreement Summaries below highlight the major responsibilities in each agreement, and should not be used as a replacement for reading the actual IBM Business Partner Agreements or IBM Lead Pass Agreement.

IBM Business Partner Agreement for Services

These terms apply to applicants who have a services-only relationship with IBM.

  • 24 month contract period
  • Renewal subject to meeting minimum IBM revenue objectives
  • Sell only to unaffiliated end-user customers
  • May pass leads to IBM and receive a finders fee

Under the agreement you agree to:
  • Provide IBM access to your facilities to review contract compliance
  • Be responsible for client satisfaction
  • Assist the client to achieve productive use of the services marketed
  • Identify and select the services solution based on clients requirements
  • Develop a plan with the client for installation and post installation support for the service offerings marketed
  • Provide an installation and support plan for the end-user customer
  • Be the primary contact for services information, technical advice and operational advice associated with the offering

Either party may terminate the agreement, with or without cause, on three month's written notice.

IBM Business Partner Agreement – Collaborative Services terms

These terms apply to applicants who have a collaborative services relationship with IBM.

  • 24 month contract period
  • Renewal subject to meeting minimum IBM revenue objectives
  • Sell only to unaffiliated end users, not to resellers
  • May pass leads to IBM and receive a finders fee

Under the agreement you agree to:
  • Provide IBM access to your facilities to review contract compliance
  • Be responsible for client satisfaction
  • Perform end-user customer needs analysis
  • Identify and select the solution based upon the end-user customer's requirements
  • Demonstrate eligible services where appropriate
  • Develop Solution implementation plans
  • Inform the end-user customer of any Solution prerequisites and installation requirements
  • Provide support to the end-user customer for the term of the service agreement.

Either party may terminate the agreement, with or without cause, on three month's written notice.

Key IBM Lead Pass Agreement terms

These terms apply to applicants who have an IBM Lead Pass agreement. To apply for an IBM Lead Pass agreement or register a lead.

  • 12 month contract period
  • Renewal subject to active participation in the program
  • Submit leads to IBM Global Services and receive a finders fee

Under the agreement you agree to:
  • Submit leads of your choosing to IBM

Either party may terminate the agreement, with or without cause, on one (1) month's written notice.
