IBM Systems & Technology Group Business Partners focus on remarketing IBM servers, Systems Storage, Point of Sale products, Internet Security Systems (ISS) and related IBM Services. Most IBM Business Partners combine their application software solutions and technical services with IBM Power Systems, IBM System i, IBM System p, IBM System x, or IBM System z when marketing to customers.
Applicants are required to meet certain selection criteria, and if approved, to sign an IBM Business Partner Agreement. IBM remarketers are expected to invest in extensive IBM product training and education, and to meet minimum IBM revenue objectives. An IBM authorized Distributor can provide you more information about this program. To complete the application an IBM ID is required.

Business Partners who are resale oriented may decide to resell just IBM services, independent of system sales. For this they would apply for a Services-only relationship.
For non-reseller firms, teaming with IBM Global Services can enable you to differentiate yourself from your competitors by broadening your services capabilities through a collaborative sales and delivery relationship with IBM.
